ABOUT ME
I live in lovely Arch Hill in Auckland, where I'm studying post-grad Art History and undergrad Fine Arts. Before this I did a BA in Art History and International Relations at Victoria University in Wellington. I live with 2 girls and 2 guys and one very old cat who has boundary issues and can say 'Hello' in English with perfect pronunciation.
I'm really interested in critical theory and politics and art, but I'm a pro conversationalist so I can talk about anything from Zizek to Beyonce's new tumblr. I love 'the nightlife' but I also really love staying in with a few people and drinking wine and talking shit. Social but nerdy, cray cray for contemporary art, bad at filling in 'about me' forms without sounding weird or contrived...
PHILOSOPHY
Judith Butler; Walter Benjamin; Zizek; Foucault...
Especially Walter Benjamin, we have like, a relationship ... we're pretty much soulmates separated only by time and a morphine overdose.

Too many to list really, at the moment I'm reading In Cold Blood and Second Sex and listening to a lot of Sufjan Stevens and the Knife.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Went to Bangladesh in 2011, totally mindblowing experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I have some good stories to swap, I can teach you how to knit as long as you only want to make very basic scarves that are slightly lumpy, I can cook a totally boss cheese toasty, I can dj a mean impromptu living room dance party, and I know some of the cheesiest knock knock jokes ever.
