I like to think of myself as an open minded person. I'm easily intrigued with almost everything. I love to hear stories about other peoples lives. I'm keen on music, it means a lot to me. I do like a metric shit ton of movies, books and stories. In particular I'm into fantasy. I love what I'm learning and I do not fear the geek stereotype: Dungeons and Dragons sure is an awesome thing to do! I follow a strict routine with my sports and I choose getting rain-soaked on my bike over taking the underground most of the time. Finally, I try to act spontaneously as often as possible .

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I already covered that question above. But I shall go more into detail: I think it became way to rare to grant a credit of trust to strangers nowadays. Also, we seem to get more and more into erecting walls and strenghening borders . Couchsurfing provides not only a platform, but also a reason to refrain from doing so! Plus, there's defenitely no better way to experience a place than following a local guide!

Music, Movies, and Books

Alter Bridge, Tremonti, Versengold, Wohlstandskinder, DÄ, Stone Sour, Like a Storm, Halestorm - again, these are only the first ones coming to my mind. I kinda favor Alter Bridge for a long time now! Then movies - I'm all into Star Wars, LOTR, most Marvel and some Horror movies. Actually I like almost every movie for something. At least the vast majority of movies got "something" they're doing well (in my mind)! Books - Harry Potter (we all grew up with em), again LOTR, the Hobbit, The Kingkiller Chronicles, The Stormlight Archive, The Mistborn Trilogy, some German books from Walter Moers...

Waking up freezing in the Mojave Desert on the front seat of our car and watching the slowest sunrise in history taking away the overwhelming light of the stars.

Teach, Learn, Share

I don't think of myself as a teacher in too many regards: I did teach the drums, my way of writing lyrics and music and of course physics and mathematics in the past. So it seems reasonable to claim I could teach those again. Aside from that I love to share and exchange ideological beliefs and ideas! I like to learn about everything one could teach me!
