ABOUT ME

I grew up in Vancouver and went straight through the grades and then through university. I studied pretty much everything I could in the humanities, but I focused on English, religion, and philosophy.

After I finished university I moved to Guadalajara to learn Spanish, then over to Cuernavaca/Tlamacazapa to volunteer in community development for a spell.

Since then I've travelled and lived in Korea, Ecuador, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay, Chile, Guatemala, and Honduras. I'm working in post-secondary education and completing my MA in literacy development.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I flew across the North Pole and was stunned by the limitless beauty. I traveled by boat the length of the Amazon River. Hugged a sloth. Headbutted a penguin.
