About Me
Basically, about me:
After I failed to get into a drama school, I moved to Spain. First to a city I ended up hating, Alicante, back to The Netherlands, missed Spain, moved to Sevilla. Here we are. And with this city I fell in love. First I worked some time in a restaurant, now I've (finally) started University. I study Anthropology - cultures, or like the anthropologist Ingold once said: "philosophy with the people in." It's brilliant. Everything I thought I knew or considered normal or natural, I now question - which can be very exhausting as well by the way. And since career opportunities include investigating different ways of life, living with a gang, a tribe or in a commune, I feel like I'm at the right place. At least for now, 'cause that is something that can describe me: I'm very changeable. Friends of mine always ask me what the plan of the week is: studying in Spain, traveling in South Africa, working in a hostel in Italy, or after all still being an actress - which is something, I have to admit, that still hasn't left the building.
Furthermore, in anthropology I've met the most amazing people. We philosophize, we organize a lot of dinners, we make music in Alameda - well they do, I am as unmusical as they come, but I do enjoy the shit out of it. And... yeah. My life is pretty good :)

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: I'll limit this to my absolute favorites.
The Shadow of the Wind (Carlos Ruíz Zafón); The Secret Story (Donna Tartt).
Other authors I enjoy are Paul Auster, Arnon Grunbeg, Nick Hornby (for a laugh), J.K. Rowling (obviously)... And I ultimately really enjoy reading informative books. I'm reading Hobbes right now, loved Harrari's very popular 'Sapiens', through my study I've discovered Polanyi's 'The Great Transformation.' And more...
Music mostly hippie style. '60 to '90, with favorites like The Box Tops, The Cure, The Beatles, Jimi fucking Hendrix (duhh), The Doors,Pink Floyd, Rolling Stones, Amy Winehouse, Nirvanna, Supertramp... Oh fuck, I can go on and on for ages. And every now and then I enjoy a few of the 2000 hits, just because of nostalgia hehe.
Movies... Don't watch too much tv. But really loved:
Captain Fantastic, Good Will Hunting, Babel, La Piel que Habito, V for Vendetta, León: The Professional.
And when I'm really tired, I like to watch Girlmore Girls. Seen that shamefully often.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiking in the Himalaya.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Very good location in Sevilla, a comfortable couch. A dinner with the best people here. Great evenings making music, discussing interesting things, laughing about stupid things. Recommendations for what to do and where to go in Sevilla - there are so many awesome things going on in the city!
