Actually I live in Plauen, a smaller city in the East of Germany. I like sunrise more than sunset, prefer walking to driving :) and reading or talking to watching TV.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was always a traveller and lover to discover new areas and cultures abroad from the normall touristic route.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

pretty amazing was my time going trekking in Turkey at the 1st time on the Lycia Yolu (a far distance trekking trail). One day my friend an me where in the kackar mountain area and on a steep ascent in the middle of nowhere. Asking a sheppard how far the peak is and if we could reach is that day, he said it wouldn't be a problem. So climbed up the hills four more houres but no end to see. Finally we had to stay there overnight and it started snowing and the temperatures sank up to -10°C in the night. So we where a bit freezing , as we where well equiped for mediteranian temperatures and mild climate. The next day we had to climb up 4 more houres to the peak, snowing all the day and another 5 houres for the descend . In the evening we were swiming in the sea and picking up oranges from the trees. So that was an very impressive time I often remember.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Would be great to cook some food together. I would love to learn preparing different kind of meals. Also would be great to go for a hike or just discovering your local place together.
