About Me

CURRENT MISSION

My current mission is my past mission which is my future mission which is to open my mind and heart to other thoughts, ideas and philosophies so that when I become benevolant dictator of the world I can do so for the benefit of one and all.

ABOUT ME

Sailor/Poet/Travel addict. You need something just ask, want an opinion you better make sure you can handle the truth and he is way more soft hearted than he wants you to know. Life is wonderful but the dichotomy of cruelty, slavery and subversion leaves me feeling frustrated. Why, when there are so many of us who believe in love, are there so many who do not grasp its cleansing power?

PHILOSOPHY

We learn every day and so we should change along with what we learn.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Honestly, these days I work every day very hard and have little free time to donate to causes. It takes a lot to run a farm,,especially on your own.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am a virgin couch surfer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Quit a good job, sold my house, bought a 33 foot sailboat, taught myself to sail and took off for a year sailing the west Carib at 50. I am awestruck at this small 10 acre farm I live on. In 1994 I snuck into Tikal Guatemala after dark and climbed temple IV where I spent the night under a full moon at summer solstace. The birth of both of my wonderful sons.

Teach, Learn, Share

Kinds??? It is easier to list a few things I would rather not visit with..Haters, people who find ways to justify cruelty, hard partiers that get loud instead of profound. Politics, religion, philosophy are all welcome discussions for adults that can reason without taking offense.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Costa Rica, Guam, Honduras, Japan, Mexico, Panama, Puerto Rico, Thailand, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In

Guatemala, Taiwan, United States
