I'm a lifelong arts administrator who is currently on a sabbatical while I finish a master's degree in public administration. I'm from the east coast of Canada, but Vancouver has been my home for the past decade. But I recently packed up my west coast life and moved to Oaxaca in March.

I have spent a lot of time couchsurfing, having spent time on sofas and lay-z-boys in every province of Canada, over a dozen US states, and throughout Armenia, Georgia, Turkey and the Palestinian West Bank. My activist inclinations have thrown me on several cross-Canadian speaking and organizing tours, during which couchsurfing was the norm.
