About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Compassion - The source of happiness

ABOUT ME

Well a simple guy with amazing bunch of people whom I call friends. Always learn from my own mistakes...Currently living life to the fullest. I have a sweet tooth for life hence I have a soft corner and countless woven bundles of love for twix, mars, bueno (my fav chocolates). Sleeping on grandpa's arm chair & childrens' slides comforts me and heals me... I may not say a word for days but when I talk, you can give it a try to stop me :p! I love dancing on the terrace...eating in the kitchen, sipping tea in my balcony.. & I'm a tubelight sometimes (I love to be lost in thoughts which last may be for few seconds)...I don't like taking sides...I believe that everything is connected and we just try to find the stimuli...but I comment from heart and I share what I feel...

Just like fellow creatures I have a passion to love and share and hence learn from them to be Happy and bring smiles on others as well. I Love kids, spending time with them, its the best feeling I can imagine in the whole world. Love music, reading, cycling and travelling... My aim in life: 'Compassion and to realize the essence of happiness'.

Things that allure me above all:
LOVE CHOCOLATES... CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT THEM! , Ice creams and FOOOOOOODD :O)

PHILOSOPHY

Love each other or die trying...

"Some speak about me, some speak for me and some mean just ME, in short without you its 'Nobody Me'!"
--PUNEET CHHABRA

What I learn from life... it's better than an Ice Cream :D

We indeed come back in some form or the other! Some come back for a purpose, some for a loved one...I scribble on a paper, what i would love to come back as! Well, the thought that, we are gonna die someday is true...but nobody wants to believe it! Sitting on my bed, Its an off for me from work... through the window I see children playin in rain enjoying their last week before they move back to school. Personally ask myself, if I am more involved in my Life? What is it offering me? A childhood filled with love, laughter, cheeky jokes...the ass wipping all the time in school from my fav teachers. At times we take time for granted, never get involved in the laugh, fun as we have more important things in life to achieve!

What I learn...

We take death as a kid...know its gonna knock our doors but we close our eyes! But we need to look for a better approach, to know its gonna come and be prepared for it every moment! "That way we be more involved in our life while we live!" We need to borrow from cultures all around the world. When our culture doesnt offer it, I dont buy it! But being prepared to die???
Well lets do what the buddhists do. Every day have a little bird on your shoulder that asks, "Is today that day? Am I ready? Am I doing all I need to do? Am I being the person I want to be? "
We know we gonna die, do we believe it???

What I learn...

"Once you learn how to die, you learn how to live"

A thought to sleep with...

When you’ve suffered a great deal in life, each additional pain is both unbearable and trifling. My life is like a memento mori painting from European art: there is always a grinning skull at my side to remind me of the folly of human ambition. I mock this skull. I look at it and I say, “You’ve got the wrong fellow. You may not believe in life, but I don’t believe in death. Move on!” The skull snickers and moves ever closer, but that doesn’t surprise me. The reason death sticks so closely to life isn’t biological necessity–it’s envy. Life is so beautiful that death has fallen in love with it, a jealous, possessive love that grabs at what it can. But life leaps over oblivion lightly, losing only a thing or two of no importance, and gloom is but the passing shadow of a cloud."
- Yann Martel, Life of Pi

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Its amazing to see so many people from diverse cultures share and make this world fall under one big cloud of love and togetherness. Will love to participate to spread the same spirit by meetings, cultural activities, volunteer work and awareness specially on Global warming and pollution.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My acquaintance with CS has been amazing. I made a nice friend during my work at Royal Mail, Edinburgh. I was invited by her to a christmas dinner where I met couple more interesting CS guys. It was the best christmas night ever. Its that happiness we need to spread worldwide and I think CS is the right place to start contributing...Just the right inspiration that I was looking for, and I am on CS... since then, I've loved every single moment...

Teach, Learn, Share

"Born a student, learning is never an end "
Few of my statements rushing my blood to one! But after 22 years, blended with what is expected from me and what can I deliver, I do ask questions! Miss those lunch bells, wish they ring now to remind me that I still have friends next to me. Few holding their breath and running to the loo...few fiddling with their shoe! I do ask questions...Do I take care of others or always worried about the "inner child"? Do i believe what I see or believe what I feel? We do ask questions, on Death, Fear, Aging, Greed, Sadness, Marraige, Culture, Family, Society, Forgiveness, Love....a meaningful life! I do write them down, as myself...learn from others.

Everything is a form of energy, we do believe in it...

"Desana", A South American Tribe believe and see world as a fixed quatity of energy which flows between all creatures. Every birth must engender a death and every death brings another birth. This way, the energy of the world remains complete. They believe in a spiritual well, every animal they hunt will leave a hole in the well. But that hole will be filled by the Desana hunters when they die. Well I do like this idea, makes us feel we are creatures in the same forest.
