ABOUT ME

Hm. About me. I'm still a child at heart and while I've dealt with a great many things in my life (though not enough to say that I'm old and wise) I have managed to come through most of it on the top end. I'm a software developer and an author and I love being creative in general, with a focus on history, writing, sometimes art, cooking and physical activity. I want to be a beer connoisseur but have sadly only sampled a small offering of the handcrafted and gourmet beers that exist. That being said I prefer light to mid dark browns but think that the really dark beers have too much of a liquor nose vapor to them. I love learning and being well read and am proactive about everything in my life, and I hope to share that with whoever I meet!

PHILOSOPHY

The only expectations that I can live up to are my own. If others define their expectations for me I won't get anywhere substantial. I'm independent and necessarily so because I can never be sure where I'll end up and if I'll have anyone with me when that happens.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently only a surfer since i'm boarding at a university that doesn't allow visitors. I'm graduating this spring though and will be moving into my own place or an apartment and extremely happy and willing to provide sleeping places for any surfers that happen into my area.

The most amazing thing I've done is to climb to the top of a mountain (multiple including all the collegiate peaks near Denver, CO) and stood on the top, admiring the beauty of the world below me.
