ABOUT ME

I grew up and lived most of my life in south Brazil, but since 2000, when I moved to London to spend two years, I started to take every opportunity I had to travel and get to know a different place. So I´ve been doing that since then, but it will probably slow down when my wife and I have our first kid, which should happen sometime by 2016.

I consider myself a very curious, adventurous and independent traveller, who is specially interested in learning the natural and cultural aspects of the places I visit. I don´t usually party when I´m on the road, so I would say I´m a more "daylight" kind of traveler, since I´d rather go to bed early and get up early, to get most of the atractions on the places I´m visiting. But I don´t mind some beers occasionaly either, it´s just that I would stop by the second one probably!

I really like photography, so most of the time you will see me wih a big camera hanging on my neck. I apreciate learning the cultural aspects of the countries where I travel, before, during, or even after the visit. All those information, along whith the pictures I take, are then published on my personal travel blog, which I maintain in order to keep my travel memories alive.

I´m more on classical Rock ´n Roll like Black Sabbath, Led Zeppeling and all those oldies, but not just that. If it´s good music and not just made to sell records, then the chances I´ll like it are pretty high.

I usually write articles about photography tips. That´s something I could share with other people. And I actually have done it already, and was a good experience to see someone discovering how to proper use his camera!
