For 2022 I'm returning to international travel and hosting where my schedule allows (my life has little routine!). I've been on many journeys and I'm fairly relaxed/open minded as a result. So far this year I've visited Ibiza, Poland, Peru, Slovenia and Portugal. Enjoying being back on the road again.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

These days I usually take a month off work each year and absorb myself in one foreign country. It's been a great way to meet people and experience different ways of life. I like to host wherever I have the time available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried it for the first time on a month long trip in Korea, March 2014. It made my journey so much more enjoyable, I should have started doing it years ago! I tried it again in Argentina 2015, but hosts were generally too relaxed to keep any arrangements! I intend to use it in the UK more often

I live near the Lake District, and can guide any serious road riders or mountain bikers for some big scenic and/or difficult routes!
