For 2025, things are changing slightly. I am selling the home I previously hosted in, and moving in to a new house with my partner who has children. Hosting will be on hold for now.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

These days I usually take a month off work each year and absorb myself in one foreign country. It's been a great way to meet people and experience different ways of life. I like to host wherever I have the time available.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I tried it for the first time on a month long trip in Korea, March 2014. It made my journey so much more enjoyable, I should have started doing it years ago! I tried it again in Argentina 2015, but hosts were generally too relaxed to keep any arrangements! I intend to use it in the UK more often
