ABOUT ME
Hi! My name is Robbie!
I live in and around British Colombia, Canada while I'm working for the Canadian Pacific Railroad. On my days off I may be in Banff, but could also be anywhere else in British Colombia.
I am lucky enough to be able to say that I truly love my job and love the life I'm living. My living situation is simple and liberating. I have been living out of my GMC Savanna van which I am converting into a Stealth Adventure Camper! I'm always travelling around with work, but if it works out I would be happy to show people around and take people camping so they can witness the true raw rugged great white north!

Before this I have lived and worked in a few different countries. I was born and raised in the Netherlands, followed by ten years in Greece before moving to Canada. I also spent a year in the Dominican Republic, as well as three months in Colombia.
I havent used couchsurfing for a few years now, but looking forward to dive back into it, surfing and hosting alike!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is (in my opinion) the best way to connect with the place that you are visiting. You get to see places and meet people that you otherwise might never see/meet. My experiences with couchsurfing have never dissapointed. And the best part is that everyone can be so different in so many ways, yet we all have that same itch for travelling. That same sense of wanderlust, which fuels our stories and adventures!

Hiking, Rock climbing, Scrambling, Rapelling, Surfing, Kayaking, Scuba diving, Freediving, getting into kiteboarding and hopefully snowkiting, anything that involves adrenaline and the great outdoors!
Also enjoy playing music, cooking, working outside, camping, campfires, and of course good company!
Always up for a new experience, especially those that scare me
