Overview
About Me
I will soon be working with Bridges to Prosperity in Nicaragua, teaching communities how to build footbridges that provide access to education, markets and healthcare that would otherwise often be inaccessible for many in rural areas.
I'm happy, crafty, fun and kind. I love making people smile.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like to see someone's eyes light up, take a deep breath and grin as they take in the view from their favorite spot in the world, if I'm lucky enough for you to share it with me. Whether it's through stories or taking you to my favorite spot overlooking the coast, I love to share my home and culture with others just as much as I want to experience yours.
Interests
I'm up for any adventure, I love exploring and the outdoors, learning new things, enjoying the beauty in the ordinary and extraordinary, and exchanging stories and ideas.

Music, Movies, and Books
I like when bands have a lot of people and a lot of tambourine, salsa rhythms, and most everything in between. All things Wes Anderson. You have got to read Life of Pi, Shantaram and Breakfast of Champions.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Backpacking into the redwoods of California's central coast for an early morning soak in Sykes hot springs.
Teach, Learn, Share
I'll teach you a game, song, or tradition. I'd love to learn your favorite family recipe and of course practice my Spanish.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A lot of smiles and a joyful adventure with a new friend. I'll show you what I know on the saxophone or mandolin, or cook you something tasty.
