About Me
Hey! I'm a 22 year old Arts graduate who has always loved to travel! I'm currently travelling around Europe with my partner, Jacob (it's his first backpacking experience!!). Despite being an artist for so long, I've recently started painting again after about 4 years of doing photography, sculpture, mixed media and installation. It's harder than I remember! I'm really into some nerdy stuff like DnD, card games and board games, and I do love to just sit around and read a lot too. I'm currently reading A Game of Thrones (it was the only English book I could find in a tiny village we were stuck in, in France...).
To be honest, I don't know why we didn't start couchsurfing earlier... We have really enjoy meeting other travellers and locals in each country we visit and couchsurfing seems so perfect for that!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We love meeting new people and have found that our best experiences have always been shown to us by people who live there and love their city and country! Walking tours can only teach us so much😉
Interests
I have always been very passionate about art and craft, and travelling. I am hoping to one day open my own shop for recycled and upcycled decorations, practical objects and furniture. I'm learning carpentry at the minute, and will be starting a short course when I get back. Travelling has given me a lot of inspiration for interior design and a strong passion to work with recycled materials.
