I'm currently a student at Virginia Commonwealth University's School of the Arts, where I'm studying sculpture, as well as craft and material studies. Following graduation, I hope to become certified in teaching and my dream is to become an art teacher in the public school system in Chicago, Illinois.
I've been vegetarian since I was about three years old and love any opportunity I can get to cook up a meal!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

From the ages of two to about twelve, I couchsurfed all over the east coast with my peers, attending dance festivals and meeting tons of amazing people along the way! I come from a very low income background and would love any opportunity to travel and explore the world around me - and I feel that couch surfing is a wonderful way to do so! This year, I'm hoping to couchsurf throughout America to various hubs of art and culture; as an art student and aspiring artist, I am very interested in expanding my artistic knowledge and supporting my studies by traveling to exhibitions, workshops, galleries, and museums.
