I'm Robyn, I'm from London,UK.
I live in London but do travel frequently. I work as an Infant Feeding Supporter and as an English Teacher :-)
I love to do things which make me feel happy - I spend much of my free time outside in nature, I'm also a massive yoga enthusiast (been practising for last 5 years), an avid book reader, very artsy fartsy and I write poems!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It is important to me to connect with the people around me and make a genuine & positive contribution to any place I visit. I'm keen to explore any opportunities to connect with new people while I travel to share my culture and learn theirs.

I can't wait to meet beautiful people from all over the world, share food, drinks, work, interesting conversation about the universe and life and hopefully make some long-term friends :-)

Music, Movies, and Books

I find this tricky as I appreciate so many types of music and literature its hard to narrow down to favourites or genres. For music, it completely depends on what mood I'm in! Some go-tos would be, Buena Vista Social Club, Thin Lizzy, The Smiths, NAO, Bob Dylan, Frank Ocean, Ocean Wisdom, Arctic Monkeys, The Internet, SZA, J Cole, Fleetwood Mac, Soha, Danny Brown, Harry Belafonte, Erykah Badu, Jamie.

For movies, I suppose I'm pretty into action films, thrillers, comedies. Not a fan of horrors at all. 10 Things I Hate About You, The Voices, Hancock, Get Out, , Moonlight, are a few I've watched a couple times.

BOOKS: This is hard. I literally read all sorts.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I was dared to ski backwards down a slope in Czech Republic, and I immediately took to the challenge. It was pretty crazy and risky as I wasn't very experienced yet but the thrill and fun made it worth it!
