I'm brand new to couchsurfing, hope that doesn't put people off. Just a Scottish girl who loves meeting new people and travelling! What more is there to say?

I'm attempting to visit 30 countries by the time I'm 30, currently at 24 countries so only got a few more to do in the next 4 years. Only one continent left to visit too. A reason why I've joined couchsurfing, to get the most out of my visits to the remaining countries.

I am fairly friendly and find other people's cultures and stories facinating. Have had the benefit of meeting people from all over the world and making international friendships through studying snd travelling and unfortunately although I don't have a place to host couchsurfing as I live in shared accommodation, I do like to host international friends when they want to visit Scotland.

I'm quite adventurous and enjoy trying new things. That could be from trying new foods, trying a new activity or going to a new place. As long as it's safe then I'll try anything once.

Referring to my "about me" section I love travelling and meeting new people. Staying in hostels is fun but the best way to get to know about a place your visiting is to stay with a local and learn first hand from them about their home city and the local culture and customs.

Love all types of music, mostly of the rock variety but love hearing new bands and styles.

I studied film so I love all movies, but my top 5 favourites are probably Back To The Future, Jurassic Park, The Terminator, Ferris Bueller's Day Off and Toy Story.

Favourite book is probably call of the wild, favourite authors, Stephen King, Michael Crichton and David Baldacci and I'm also working my way through the James Bond books.

Visited 10 countries in five weeks interrailing around Europe. Trying to see keep four people happy by visiting all the countries each wants to see is not easy!
