ABOUT ME

I am intuitive person who loves helping people and seeing new places. I am a vegan when in the United States and a vegetarian when abroad in countries of language I don't speak and who don't have factory farms like the US does.

PHILOSOPHY

Any belief from any religion that HELPS IMPROVE YOU as a person should never be turned away! I am not religious but love to learn and study about world religions. Buddhism is my favorite.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I have surfed a few times and hope to establish a place of my own after my travels in winter of 2015 to start hosting surfers in return.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I couchsurfed a little bit in winter of 2014, and had mostly good experiences. I am trying to stay with more hosts through airbnb this winter of traveling, and do a tiny bit of couchsurfing as to not completely miss out on the unique perks it brings.

I love to write. My dream is to travel the world and write books. Other hobbies are playing music and running marathons.

Music, Movies, and Books

Too many books to name. I am an aspiring writer, and reading is one of my biggest hobbies after writing. I especially love reading memoirs and tend to learn more from non-fiction, but I do appreciate fiction from time to time as a break from this world. Anne Lamott is my favorite author, because she is so blunt, honest and random.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've completed 4 full marathons (26.2 miles) and 2 half-marathons (13.1 miles).
