After a 10 year career with the same company it's time for a break! Never got round to backpacking etc when I was younger so now's my chance to get out there, see more of the world and meet new people before I decide what to do when I grow up..

Music is a big one.. I have very diverse taste which is often influenced by my mood. Current favourites include Toots and the Maytals, The Bronx, Daughter, Chvrches, PAPA, and a whole host of old school hip hop, soul, reggae, drum and bass, punk, metal and everything in between.

Films are a pretty diverse topic for me too.. Top picks ever would probably have to include Oldboy (the Korean original), The Blues Brothers, and Die Hard (1 and 3 are obviously best). I like a lot of world and indie films too, and a good comedy doesn't go amiss. No chick flicks though please!

I definitely don't make enough time for reading these days but The Psychopath Test, The Alchemist, and Memoirs of a Geisha are up there.

Amazing or embarrassing.. you decide.. I once dressed up in a home made super hero costume and went all around Dubai in it to make a video for a competition. It involved more than a few weird looks off people and a lot of photo opportunities.

Having spent over half my life in the Middle East I can give a pretty good insight to the place. Can teach basic cooking.. I'm no master chef but do love food.
