I've had such a great time on couch surfing as my references will show, meeting amazing people and making new friends.

Me: A bit of an intellectual and artist who loves people and social situations, meeting people and understanding them. I am more a European than a Brit, loving the diversity of Europe.

I'm a sociable person who adapts quickly to different people. I won't say too much about myself - you're better reading my references and see what other people say but I've had a great time couch surfing and made many new friends.

For those of you who speak English as your second language I speak BBC English which I'm told makes it far easier to understand me.

I am currently enjoying a life in sobriety so there's no alcohol at my home and I welcome people who support my decision.

Meet new people and have interesting experiences. I like travelling but it's mostly because of the cultures I experience. I'd like to let these cultural experiences come to me through couchsurfing.

I like guests to want to go out or chat at home and share experiences. If you want to keep yourself to yourself this isn't the place for you.

I'm a nudist and like the freedom to be naked in my own home occasionally please tell me if this is something which would bother you. It does mean though that my home is apparently one of the warmest couch surfers have experienced.

I enjoy life drawing and photographing (http://www.robertyoungphotography.com/) - you'll see some of my photos around my apartment. I play piano (classical and jazz) and sing in a chamber choir (http://www.alterichamberchoir.com/). So all in all I like to do creative things when I'm not doing my less job as a web developer. I also have a piano if you like to play and also an electric and an acoustic guitar.

Cycled naked around Manchester for two hours in an environmental protest. There were two hundred other people though, scary at first but an amazing release when I did it.

Hosted another naked dinner party with a mass body painting session (it was difficult to clean my bathroom after that!)

Another was to model naked for a life drawing session.

I'm very clean and tidy, interested to talk about all sorts of things and know some great places to go out in Manchester. My guests seem to have loved to share my interests and places I can take them but if you're on a very tight budget we'll have to find things at home such as art and photography.

Also if you're interested in being body painted let me know! However, some missed out because they asked on the last day and there wasn't the time to arrange it.

I can share my home in a development which has won several awards for design and a private gym. If you can provide ID I'm happy to let you have a key and come and go as you wish but always remember this isn't a hotel - you're my guest and I expect to interact with cs visitors as if they were visiting friends.
