Hi! My name is Rocco, I am a 25-year-old Italian stundet and I live Germersheim (Germany). I’m studying conference interpreting (Italian, German, English).

I am sociable and outgoing, which means I’m always up for a chat and sharing a glass of beer / wine, but I also
recognize politeness and mutual understanding as extremely important in any sort of human interaction and relationship, so I avoid being invasive.

I'm passionate about foreing languages (who would have thought that) cooking, live music and literally everything relating to feminism, and gender and LGBTQIA* issues.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've hosted and I have been hosted by friends and friends of friends -not through this platform- ever since I've left my small town to study at university six years ago. Overall, it has always been a positive experience. Adjusting to having someone else at your place for a couple of days as well as adjusting to someone else's house and habits is such a small price to pay considering all the interesting stories and experiences you can get in return, and I just believe it's a nice thing to do,
