About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To learn!

ABOUT ME

I am a post-graduate student at the University of Cape Town studying Economic History. I did my first degree in Philosophy and Religious Studies. I am an easy going and friendly South African of Italian origin. I am excited about meeting new people and about learning new things. I am very passionate about the things that interest me – Italian language and culture, cooking, painting, reading and learning. I am always interested in hearing the stories of other people. I am always open to new experiences and new ways of looking at the world. I hope I will be able to make the most of my experience through Couchsurfing.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am excited to meet new people and experience different cultures through both hosting and being hosted. I have met some of the most incredible people and some of my best friends through Couchsurfing. I never cease to be blown away by the kindness and generosity that couchsurfers show to complete strangers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Have so far had only amazing experiences, both hosting and being hosted.

Interests

I am extremely lucky to be studying the things that interest me most - philosophy, religious studies and history. I am passionate about all things Italian.

I love to be physically active - especially running, climbing and hiking. I feel at home in nature.

My favourite indulgence is reading. I am especially enthusiastic about the classics of western literature, in particular twentieth century literature. My favourite author is Italo Calvino. I read a lot of non-fiction too.

I love meeting new people and learning from the experiences of others.
