Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I live in a big sharehouse (we had 9 people living in the house at one point) and I really love sharing time and stories with the lovely travellers and exchange students who come by and stay with us. I enjoy showing people around Melbourne and telling them about all the secret hidden spots for good food, music, and parties!

Couchsurfing brings a deeper connection to culture, people and place than hostels, and I appreciate that. I've actually couchsurfed once before, a few years ago in Milan. I loved it - we made Italian food from scratch, went out together, and stayed home playing folk songs on a ukulele.. very fun! I felt I could better understand the culture and city by spending time with them.
