ABOUT ME

I'm Toby, 21 from Tasmania, Australia. I'm adventurous and hilarious. I like to experience wonderful and new things. Personally I'd like to share those experiences with anyone and everyone. I want to look back at those times and know somebody else had shared the same emotions.

I'm a sports fan! World wide! If its competitive and physical I'll learn it inside and out. Best way to enjoy a sport is with a cold beer and anything that goes down with cold beer! I like to stay fit, but for the most part I'll skip the gym to hang out and have a good time with you.

I'm not your typical traveler. Although inexperienced, I'd like to be able to experience a culture as best as possible. If I'm staying in a hotel I can only imagine what sort of creative and inspirational people and places I would be missing. With my digital SLR by my hip I can't wait to see what magic I can capture, and of course share.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

2010: A workmate and close friend told me about couch surfing which had me intrigued instantly. Account created! Ready to host! But my then housemate from hell decides we can't host anyone.

TWO YEARS LATER: I'm finally abroad! I'm making my first trip out of Australia. Packed my life up and starting a new adventure with the same person who introduced me to the Couch Surfing world. Such an influence!

I'm ready to experience something new! Crashing on your couch is just the bonus.
