I changed my status to "Not right now" as I will move to another apt soon and my wife and I are expecting a child soon, but for those who've already contacted me and received an ok reply from me, no worries, you are very welcome and to the rest of you, I PROMISE THAT I WILL BE BACK!

Mobile phones become so deeply integrated in our everyday life and something in your hand at all times that many people forget about payphones at stations, but they are still there (at least in Japan), meaning, you can contact me in case of a delay (I'm often late, too,,,I'm sorry), etc. That said, you can also catch wifi at 7-11.

Summer is just around the corner, so my place is no longer cold for sure...

2013 Winter
Winter is back, so is cold in my apt(so if you are looking for a cozy warmy space, search on...but I will provide warm futon[x1] and for the second person a warm sleeping bag [x1])!
Sorry for the silence on my part if you sent me a request in the last couple of weeks, I was stuck at work! 'm currently doing some major cleaning at my apt, but will be ready for some couchsurfing in a week or two!(3rd Oct)
Dear prospective guests--I think the heat wave is gone now, so it's not so unbearably hot at night!
It's been cool at night in the last week or so (2013.7.23)
UPDATES: Unbearably hot in Tokyo and so is in my apt...it's about 30 degrees celcius at 8-9pm and super humid.
And I don't use the AC...well, this is just a warning!

Soon, it'll be unbearably hot in my apt...it's quite alright at the moment!
Spring has come, so forget about the note on cold for now. I'm pretty busy with my photo exhibition project (http://www.kawanojiphoto.tumblr.com) at the moment, so my response rate will go down the toilet. My apologies if I don't get to write you back in time.

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

I was once hosted by someone when I was in a small town in France. This had nothing to do with couchsurfing, but I thought I might as well pay back though not directly to the kindest man, but to someone else and let his kindness circle around the world.
