CURRENT MISSION
Climb every Cliff, Hike Many Mtns, Ski when it's cold
ABOUT ME
I'm a DOD (Department of Defense) teacher. I work hard, play hard, mostly at rock climbing, and have actually learned to chill out and meditate. I've been referred to as tsunami, so if a quiet getaway is your pleasure, my company probably wouldn't be appreciated, cause I like to talk, even though I am learning how to listen and am actually enjoying this new skill. I have a wonderful significant other, Steve Chardon, also a couch surfer, who lives in New Hampshire and we are looking forward to traveling the world and meeting many new friends.
PHILOSOPHY
Working on undoing my vicious ego and aligning myself with spirit for a less volatile, but still passionate life. My goal is to get to the point that I never forgive anyone because I never judged them in the first place. I have a ways to go on that, but life is my classroom and I've decided facing my lessons and learning is better than seeing them brought back around, AGAIN!
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
My hidden agenda is world peace and I believe that starts with inner peace and tolerance and diversity is a great avenue to help with realize we are all one. I also have the luxury of being treated pretty well by the Department of Defense and feel obligated to share the wealth a bit. Meaning, I have a couple of extra bedrooms that could help you out when traveling and introduce you to me.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Well, rock climbers are always begging for partners to climb with and friends to stay with is frosting on the cake. I like being able to help people afford to travel. Cutting out hotel expenses makes a lot more travel adventures possible. Because I teach overseas, I have traveled extensively and have never met a stranger.
Intereses
Rock Climbing, Talking to rock climbers, talking about rock climbing, talking about past climbing trips, planning future climbing trips, and when not climbing...
Hiking/Mountaineering, Skiing, and basically anything in the outdoors away from concrete and noise. I like cooking a nice meal with friends, drinking a good wine, enjoying a cute cafe.

Música, películas y libros
Okay, I'm a bit addicted to my Ipod, but I only use my TV for viewing DVD's. I am very religious about what kind of images and content I allow into my mind. My ego doesn't need any help being violent. I'm a reading specialist so books are not a good subject to get started on with me. But Disappearance of the Universe is one of my latest adult books I have enjoyed.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I paid for my son's tuition at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Google that and find out why I worked three jobs for 5 years. But I didn't want him to 'cop' a free ride with a price tag of time in Iraq or Afghanistan. However, now it's MY time! My second job is ME.
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I have extra climbing harnesses and shoes if anyone wants to face some of their fears. I've had the pleasure of living in Japan for 8 years so if I bow at you, please understand. I've had the privilege of climbing in China, Thailand, Australia, New Zealand, and Spain, and all over America. I hope to add a few dozen more European countries to that list.
