Overview
About Me
Hey! My name's Rod and I'm an MD, MPH student, medical entrepreneur, polyglot of about 5 languages, and a big-time supporter of community love and the betterment of people's health. I studied neuroscience at Harvard, am currently at Yale, and I am super into energy/biofield medicine and similar kinds of advanced integrative medicine practices. I'm a Reiki Master who used to work at Harvard's teaching hospital in the cancer wards.
I don't have references on here but a few from AirBnb! See my pictures!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think most of us would agree that it's nice to come home to a smile and some community. It sucks to stay in a new town or city and not know anyone or have anything to do. This hits especially when I'm working and I come back after a long day with no idea where to eat or hang out, talk about my day, etc.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I write a travel book/guide when I was 19 and Harvard published it! It's technically a travel guide - all about tourism and travel in Barcelona, Spain.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a Reiki practitioner (think like really deep relaxation therapy) and meditation leader who speaks 3-5 languages (varying skill levels) and a big-time science geek. People tend to like sharing themselves with me, and I guess as a doctor in training that's my superpower b/c I can help people deal with stuff!
I love talking about consciousness, radical healing, energy medicine, and the science of the mind-body connection which I draw from my own personal backstory of radical healing.
