About Me

CURRENT MISSION

save enough money for the travels and the next bottle of vodka =D

ABOUT ME

hmmm first warning....my friend wrote this description so i take no responsibility for it....unless you like it, in which case it was all my idea =) lmao

since i was a wee tacker riding in the kangaroo's pouch, i've imagined what else lay out there past crocodile dundee. last year i got the cash and balls together and left downunder for the UK. got a job, enjoyed the company of the welsh highlanders and their strange obsession with sheep, rivalled only by new zealanders :P
later i traveled europe to see the often dreamt of land of lure.
now the travel is on hold and study dominates my life. im at uni studying to be a paramedic but working my little but off and saving up bit by bit for that next trip. currently South East Asia is booked and a year in France is in the cards. time will tell but a dream is a dream, and all dreams can be achieved =)
Finally I happen to be gay. It's part of my personality and it doesn't define me. I only put that here as I dont to uh..suprise any hosts with something they're against.

PHILOSOPHY

mmm none as of yet, i just do as i do. The old, make the most out of every situation and enjoy the things that come your way. But to me the thing for life, the thing that will get you somewhere is mind over matter...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

did the epic euro trip in 2009 so surfed an array of couches and meet some awesome people, who i am truly thankful to. it's a little tricky hosting people now that im living on uni accommodation but I've experienced hosting a few people and couch surfing really is an amazing concept =)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

well i jumped on the site after a mate from home recommended, she's been cruising all the UK for the last while and has been surfing the whole time....and that sounds a bit of alright so hopefully I can get that happening and not be so reliant on forsaken hostels and get into a community of people more like me and learn a little about this part of the world.

Interests

experiencing new things really...pretty much up for what ever goes and i'll always do my best to enjoy what comes my way!
keeping fit is a big thing in my life.
Absolute passion for tasty cocktails and amazing food! So I can always show gratitude by cooking some noms =)

Music, Movies, and Books

hedwig and the angry inch and short bus, if you know these films i want to make an eternal vow of friendship to you :) lol....im serious tho....
everything in this section really depends on my mood and the people around me. very very broad area I would say...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

um I'd probably have to say doing the Kokoda Trail in Papua New Guinea, but that wont mean much to people who aren't Australian. Pretty much just a crazy as jungle trek through WW2 country where Australians fought, and of course I did it start of the monsoon season and waded through mud most of the time and picked up malaria along the way, another words, I LOVED IT!!!!!

Teach, Learn, Share

everyone has some form of knowledge they can impart and the joy is you never know what it is exactly you can teach!!!! I can try and show you how to ride a unicycle amongst an array of other things, but lets not limit teaching. couch surfing is all about learning from experiences!

Countries I’ve Visited
