ABOUT ME

I am open-minded and always happy to discover new cultures, people and environments. I am always looking for a laugh and really enjoy hearing about people's stories.

My main interests would be traveling, sports and music. I have been playing the guitar for a while and recently started playing the piano. I listen to any sort of music. I really enjoy going out and meeting new people. I am fairly curious/inquisitive in general so I like to try new things out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The most memorable experience I have had with CouchSurfing was probably in Uganda, where I simply discovered another level of hospitality! I had never experienced traveling this way. The care and devotion of our hosts was extremely humbling and will always remain a source of inspiration. I am looking forward to going on similar adventures and being a host myself to people, who like me, enjoy traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

A couple of friends and I crossed the American continent from Vancouver to Rio using only the Collaborative Economy, as part of the Sharing Bros project (http://thesharingbros.com/). We crossed 21,000Km in 7 months only through peers, meeting entrepreneurs from that space along the way. Among other things, we got to couchsurf at Casey Fenton's place (i.e.: Couchsurfing's founder); a wonderfully humble and humane person. He was but one of the countless amazing encounters we made through this website. Looking forward to the upcoming ones :)
