I'm one of those creative people that wants to do 6 different things...all of which don't pay very well. That's life isn't it? I've just graduated from college and would love to travel the world. I believe I will start my travels by taking a bus cross country to L.A and write postcards to people along the way. Doesn't that sound like the start of some sappy chick flick?

I have yet to surf a couch or have my couch surfed on...so here's to new experiences!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've never Couchsurfed before! I'm a newbie. I sent a request to a Host in Gettysburg, and even though she could not house me at the time, we met up for dinner and have still kept in touch!

Interests

I'm such a bookworm, movie junkie, and makeup fanatic. It's a shame. I'm usually writing, reading a book, watching a film or making someone up. So it seems as though I stay in most of the time. But wait! I also love the theatre and I try to see as many shows as possible.
1920-1970s fashion, film Noir, and writing Screenplays/short stories/poems/plays

Favorite Plays: Summer and Smoke, Streetcar Named Desire...ok just about everything from Tennessee Williams.

Favorite Musicals: Les Miserables, Hair, Chorus Line, Spamalot, Phantom of the Opera, Last Five Years, Spring Awakening, Dreamgirls. Just saw Book of Mormon, and it was really good. I could go to see that again.

Favorite Ballets: Giselle, Dracula,

Favorite Movies: Really digging all things Wes Anderson right now. I could also watch Down To Earth everyday of my life and be happy. Yeah it got bad reviews, but I love it.

Favorite Shows: Scandal, Walking Dead, Orange Is the New Black, Martin, In Living Color

Makeup: Just got a position being a beauty advisor for Lancome at Saks-Brookfield in NYC!!!!! I'm so pumped. Formerly worked for Sephora and Chanel Cosmetics. I've been in the makeup game for four years now and it's been a fun ride.
Also a fan of Bobbi Brown, MAC, Urban Decay, Tarte, Sugarpill, Kat Von D, Makeup Forever, OCC...the list goes on.

I love old Hollywood! (such a glamourous time)
I also love Film Noir and Psychological Thrillers-cue up Twilight Zone, Outer Limits, and X Files.

Books! Oh I love to read everything I can get my hands on. I usually read fiction, but I've started to read more non fiction because I felt so out of touch with current events. :) Currently reading The Grace of Silence by Michele Norris and The Beauty of Color by Iman.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Italy when I was 16. And I haven't been able to get over it. I want to go back as soon as possible. It was so beautiful and romantic!

I'm a theater junkie and I've saved just about every program of each show I've seen. Going to a play, musical, ballet, or opera? Ask me about it, I've probably seen it!
