About Me

Hi there!
I'm Rodri and I'm from Madrid, a wonderful city where I have studied architecture and where I'm working right now. Some things about me...hum. I love music, specially metal (in all it's beautiful complexity of styles) and jazz (oh, the bebop). I love sharing time with my friends, specially around a table with some craft beer and homemade food. I do calisthenics and play live rol games, (yeah, a strange combination) and, of course, I love traveling.
As a veggie I enjoy a lot cooking and I'm passionate about Africa, where I've had the wonderful chance of living for some time. And I don't know what else I should tell! Just ask if so :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because the best way of knowing a place is meeting the people who lives there. And is there a better way for this than sleeping in a couch in their houses?
So, a experience in which you share a good conversation appart from a roof is nothing but wonderful :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Oh, if we have to talk about music, I must say metal. From classic heavy metal to the newest atmospheric black metal, from the rawest thrash metal to melodic death metal, from saddest doom metal to power metal. I just love it!
Also I'm crazy about jazz, specially bebop and hardbop but I also like swing or cool. I would like to know more about it, but I've discovered it not so long ago and I'm still learning about it :D

And books...well, it depends on the period of my life, but if I have to choose some writers that really moves me I would say Toni Morrison, Paul Auster, Amélie Nothomb, André Malraux and, over all, Herman Hesse.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've lived in Africa! Isn't it amazing enough? :D Well, I also play drums :)

What I Can Share with Hosts
