Overview
About Me
I'm a university professor. Specialist in energy and sustainable development.
I like traveling so much. I travel more than 2 months a year.
I have traveled almost all of Brazil and Latin America, but, now (2019) I will take longer flights - Europe, Asia and Africa.
I travel most of the time alone. But I'm almost never alone. Well, I make friends very easily.
I make a great caipirinha (brazilian drink) ;) .
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I choose the place of the trip because of the natural beauty. However, interacting with new people is what makes travels spectacular. I believe, therefore, that the practice of "Couchsurfing" is a great way to increase even more the interaction with the people of the countries visited. Sharing experiences gained throughout my travels in Latin America. Contact with local people gives me a more realistic experience of the customs of the region visited.

I am a very eclectic person in the likes. I like to talk about the most diverse subjects, from sports, travel, music, cinema, economics, politics (why not ?!), parties, jokes, etc.
I really like to cook. As a descendant of an Italian family, I like to eat and cook Italian (pasta) and Brazilian foods, including barbecues. like to make new recipes of pizza and bruschettas.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Recipes of typical Brazilian foods, for the most part, very easy to prepare.
Alternative and Brazilian songs/movies (including classics), which I have on my external hard drive and notebook.
I can share experiences about Brazil and Latin America. And I can also be a partner in trekking and extreme sports.
As I enjoy "sightseeing" early in the morning, I could spend a lot of time with my hosts during the night. If my hosts do not work during the day, better yet.
