Overview
About Me
Hello everyone, we are a Chilean couple living in Concepción, Javi is a Special Education Teacher/Dancer and currently works with children in a Public Special School, and Rodrigo is a psychologist/musician.
We both have always dreamed of traveling and knowing different places and people so that's one of our goals now that we're here.
We love to go out and enjoy our free time with family and friends, and travel and get to know places from the perspective of the people who live there.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The passion for traveling. The belief that by being able to know places and different people we can grow and be better, more open-minded and transmit the idea that the beauty of the world is in its diversity and as such we should encourage differences and not judge them or try to make everyone think the same way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music is an essential part of our life, listening to a wide range of music such as rock, funk, ska, jazz, latin american folk, cumbia, salsa, balkan and gypsy.
Rodrigo plays piano and percussions and recently played funk, ska and jazz.
We love going to the cinema and also watching films at home. We enjoy different kinds of movies, tv shows, documentaries.
We like to read different things, particularly like interesting crime stories, political drama, historical drama, science fiction and also philosophy, psychology, history, education and feminism books.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveling to the Macchu Picchu ruins in Peru was a magical experience where by closing your eyes you could see what life was like when that great city was alive and the center of a great civilization.
Teach, Learn, Share
We can share some music, latin american rhythms, Spanish language, different recipies from Chile and other places we've been.
We would love to learn about different types of food, especially the local dishes and also about the culture and interesting (non-turist) things to see and know in each place where I go.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Good conversations, our own cooking, helping at home.
