About Me
Growing in Rio de Janeiro makes me someone that loves the outdoors.
I love sports and have been playing tennis and soccer (like a good Brazilian) since a little child.I have started to surf this year and hope to incorporate it as yet another sport in my list. I enjoy hiking and great views, also plenty of those in Rio.
Another sport is snowboarding and I have done it quite often for a Brazilian, who lives in a country with no snow.
I am also a musician and I play the drums, so my passion for concerts and music festivals is a very strong part of who I am. Mostly I am into Rock, but I listen to everything form electronic music to reggae.
I am also into photography, although as a beginner.
I believe that visiting a country and having a local guide makes the experience even more enjoyable and real. Friends I have made globally have always enjoyed me as their local tourist guide, when they visit!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am couch surfing because I have decided that in 2017 I will be doing my first round the world trip.
I am excited to meet new countries but specially the people and local culture. As I have shown visitors in Rio, what I call “the real Rio experience”, I would very much enjoy if I found hosts that could give me a similar experience.
Interests
Music: is really important to me, have been playing drums since I was 12.
Tennis: is my favorite sport since it is physical but also very mental.
Soccer: every Brazilian needs to play.
Snowboarding: could do it all day, everyday.
Photography: I would love to become good at it.
Meditation: I believe it to be at the core of a well lived daily life.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: I love rock, but also music from New Zeland, Australia and California which really resonates with me.
Movie: My favorite movie is probably Fight Club, because it shows a disruption of the status quo, in society.
Books: Bold from Steven Kotler and Peter Diammandis
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have started I very well known Rock/Reggae band in Brazil: Scracho. We traveled all around Brazil playing concerts and having fun. I was only 17 at the time and it was probably one of the best years of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach 4 different languages.
Also in sports: tennis, soccer, snowboarding are also things I could teach someone.
I am also into high productivity and have a few life hacks I use to do a better job while working in 3 different projects. 1) Real Estate; 2) Band Manager; 3) Party Dress Rental Store.
Would love to learn to surf properly and to be good at Yoga. Also I am into Digital Marketing and would love to learn more tips.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my views on the world since I have lived in 4 different countries and have had many interesting experiences travelling during my holidays.
Also, how working in 4 different companies during my 20`s have made me see the broader picture on the business world.
Would also love to share my thoughts on the most important things in life and how meditation has really helped me find a balance between this world and the spiritual world.
