Hello everyone!

As Brazilian as you can get: 'carinhoso', flattering, forró (Brazilian salsa), funny, spontaneous, expressive and with best intentions. Looking for effervescent people with a bubbly personality.

A Neuroscientist that pretends to be good at sports, usually funny but not for the right reasons. Clearly should have been part of the debate team at school. If I am not dancing to some catchy bass line I will be in the gym letting the iron therapize me.

I've loved science I was 15 years old. Over the years I've been more and more drawn to life sciences and ultimately to neuroscience. I am finishing my PhD in Cybernetics at the University of Reading and working as a research associate in Computational Neuroscience at the University of Sheffield.

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, a Fluminense Football Club fan, lover and supporter. Also, I'm a gym rat and a wannabe kickboxer, a whisky enthusiast and an occasional dancer with some Zouk and Brazilian Forró knowledge. Scientist, fitness addict and a bon vivant. A life enthusiast looking for amazing experiences. And a polymath in spirit.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Have hosted several surfers in various new year's eves in Brazil. It was wonderful, an amazing experience.

Also, have hosted a girl in England while at Reading - another superb time.
