Interests

I like to discover new places and enjoy the nature there. I don't leave on holidays without my binoculars.
Also, I like to make things, from woodworking to metalworking.
I'm an active person who likes being outside, I like bicycling (I've been on a few bicycle holidays), running and hiking (I've been on a few hiking holidays).
I love music and someday I hope to be able to play the banjo, now I can only play some harmonica.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like a lot of music! But if I have to choose a few genres, I would say folk and country. A banjo in a song is always a plus!
My favorite movies are music that inspire me to travel and discover nature and new cultures and people.
I like to read, both fiction and non-fiction, on various subjects.

Teach, Learn, Share

I love to learn new things! I'm very interested in how everything works in the world around me. I'm very curious and am eager to discover new things. I find beauty in small things.
As a student job I work in a bicycle repair shop where I teach other students to repair their bikes. Also, I'm active in a youth movement here called JNM. Translated, this is a youth movement for nature and environment. Here, I do activities with children and young people regarding nature and environment. I got to know a lot of people via this way.
I love to share my travel stories and being a Belgian, some of our beer ;)
