About Me

NOT IN BALI DURING THE CHRISTMAS HOLIDAYS

CURRENT MISSION

Travelled through Europe in 2014, and in 2015 travelled around Australia and South-East Asia. Currently living in Bali with my girlfriend, exploring this island as much as possible.

ABOUT ME

One of my best friends once called me "the most absurd person I know", and I think that's the best compliment anyone gave me thus far.

- I'm half Edgar, half Jules.

PHILOSOPHY

Vegan, but don't let that get in the way of hosting/requesting me; I can easily fix my own food, and if you want to I can try and prepare a not too shabby meal myself; I'm not a great cook, but it's usually edible (or so my former housemates tell me).
Personal philosophy: hard to say, always fluctuating, ocillating between whatever extremes or dualisms you can come up with; always different, always the same.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Up until now I only travelled, but planning on hosting a bit from now on.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Couchsurfed a lot during my trip through Europe, as well as couchsurfing with my mom in Australia (a great adventure), and couchsurfed in wonderful Indonesia.

Interests

I studied medicine, but quit my job with the plan to travel the world for quite some time (until my money or my wanderlust runs out). I've always been quite curious, questioning, inquisitive, but thus far my search for a way of living limited itself to books and books and late night bar conversations; I want to discover a bit more of the world, places, people.
Interested in literature, art, music, philosophy, and football. Thus far.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Well, I spent the night on a beach in Calabria once, where we went skinny-dipping in the Mediterranean, that was pretty great. Lots of different moments, though: with friends, listening to certain music, biking through the city...
The word 'awestruck' makes you dig through memories looking for spectacular stuff, but those subjectively intense moments of life are rarely linked to any special event, really.

Teach, Learn, Share

Learn as much as I can (ideas; recipes; dancing; musical instruments)
