ABOUT ME

I decided to stop traveling all the time (for now), and am now working on paying back my debts and getting some savings - by making games, which is pretty neat. In the future I'd like to start a hostel and maybe visit the moon.

PHILOSOPHY

It's hard to find any -isms to really identify with, and quotes always sound so cheesy. But if you must know, I consider myself a pacifist, I don't eat meat and I generally think "live and let live" is a good guideline for most situations.

I've met wonderful people through CS (and HC), and I'm such a fool for not being in touch with them more often... HospitalityClub member for many years (same nickname).

Interests

My interests are wide but shallow. I'm trying to learn Capoeira, occasionally play the guitar, cook, try to prefer quality over quantity when it comes to alcohol (though usually I end up going for both), etc. I became a huge nargile fan when living in Turkey. I read, listen to music, live and breathe, do things that people do...

Music, Movies, and Books

Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Trainspotting, Pulp Fiction... Or Player of Games, Orhan Pamuk's books.. or Tolkien! Or Dick, or Clarke, or Gaiman. Maybe Kerouac, Steinbeck, Hemingway, and Bukowski? There's way too many- not even mentioning non-fiction. Music ranging from Turkish 60s schlager hits (yeah, they have them) through Finnish thrash metal to acid jazz. I have a pretty broad music taste.
