hello my my name is roger I'm 34 and from the UK ive been backpacking on and off since 2007 now. I'm not your usual backpacker, I like to stray off the trail. I like to wonder off from the tourists and get involved more with the locals and the local culture. I spent many years with sea shepherd, volunteering to save the oceans from illegal poachers. we visited places and islands I didn't know existed. places you just cant get to without a boat, this motivated me to do and see as much as I can in this lifetime. the only continent I have not visited is Africa. I know I'm privileged to have the life I have its been great so far and it will continue on :-)
