I've always been an explorer, visiting over 80 countries and living in several. Dual citizen (Finland and USA). Love learning languages and cultures. I have worked in many fields but have loved benign the wine industry for many years, having owned my own wine shop/bar and importing. Also a writer. Can't live without my daily long walks. Always curious.

Musica, film e libri

For music I am all over the map, from Classical to Jazz to Blues to classic rock to punk and lots of "world music". I have always loved reading and some favorite authors are Bowles, Conrad, Coetzee, Ondaatje, Pavese, Bly, Gide, Naipaul, but so many more. I used to watch a lot of independent and world cinema and once worked for a film festival.
