I just graduated college at the University of Maine at Augusta. I am the founder at Help For Others.org. I went to college at the age of 39 to get a Computer Science degree after losing my right arm in a boat accident May 29th, 2006. I have traveled all over the lower 48 states as a tractor trailer trainer when I worked for Werner Enterprises. I am positive, upbeat, and love teaching and sharing the experiences that I have lived.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people and sharing experiences. Life is more about the journey than the destination. The best way to truly understand where someone comes from is to experience it first hand.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love the classics for books. I do not read much, but love audio books. My favorite book of all time is by Henri Charrière - Papillon.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Costa Rica for a BIO 277 class and saw 7 different national rain forests and drove down the continental divide. I also have been to Jamaica, Grand Cayman, and Mexico.

What I Can Share with Hosts

If you are visiting me, I am in the middle of a major renovation project on the house that I just bought. If you don't mind a little dust, then you are welcome to stay upstairs. If you would like to help out, I would love the help, if not, then I would be grateful for your company.

If I am visiting you, I am great with technology. I have a BAS with 3 minors in computer science. I can share my knowledge, and I can help with any projects that you might need some insight on.
