About Me
***Please note that as a healthcare worker I am not accepting houseguests at the moment due to the coronavirus pandemic. Best to play on the safe side. Sorry and I hope you understand!***
26 year old junior doctor in Darwin
I like dogs, books and tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm an avid traveller, but what I enjoy most of all is meeting and sharing good times with local people from where I am visiting.
Would love to meet travellers in Darwin as well and show them all the exciting things that our city has to offer.
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Pretty variable, from Alt J to Kate Bush, Florence and the Machine to Jay-Z, Sufjan Stevens to Beyonce and Nicki Minaj... I'll listen to most things!
Movies: Love anything by Tarantino, Coen brothers or Wes Anderson. My favourite movies are Kill Bill, Reservoir Dogs, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Being John Malkovich
Books: I love all books! My favourites are The Secret History, Life of Pi, Norwegian Wood, and A Little Life
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Travelled across 1/4 of the world from Moscow to Beijing on the Trans Siberian Railway
- participated in medical clinics in remote villages at 18,500ft in the Himalayas
- Explored the beautiful country of Iran and experienced Persian hospitality firsthand
Teach, Learn, Share
I love learning new things, especially through visiting new countries. Especially keen to learn about a country's history and culture as well as the best place to eat good food. Also love to hike and see wildlife and get out into nature! 🌴
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can offer a nice smile, engaging conversation and maybe the occasional funny joke. We would love to cook you a delicious meal as well!
