About Me

Still figuring it out

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am a couch surfing virgin and I am very excited to be a apart of this great community that I have heard so much about. My friends introduced me to this site, and they speak highly of those that they have met. I am moving out to New York City, and I hope to make some friends that share the same passion for travel and life.

I love how there is a community of travelers who support one another, and each wanderlust seeker seem to have something in common: a selfless desire to welcome open-minded newcomers to their city with so much joy, warmth, and passion. I too would like to welcome travelers to New York City as well (when I am finally settled in), but first I would like to being this journey by actually couch surfing myself with a much more experienced host, so that I can provide the best accommodation possible when I start hosting.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

About a year and a half ago I did something that I didn't really picture myself doing: I left the comfort of my home, loved ones and friends and decided to relocate to San Francisco. The decision was quick but felt so natural, and, with only about two months to plan-- I sold my car, most of my belongings and booked a one way ticket to a city I had only visited once before. My spirit and willingness to grow pushed me to persevere and taught me so much about myself. And here I am today ready to embark on my next adventure...

Teach, Learn, Share

I learned that in life you must not allow others to pave your path with their own personal fears and insecurities. Some prefer concrete, meant to walk with shoes; meanwhile, others desire the earth beneath their bare feet.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I love to cook, so I can chef up a nice meal for you.
