CURRENT MISSION
Exploring the most remote corners of the melanesian isles
ABOUT ME
I really don't like talking about myself and I don't see much point anyway, because even the most boring guy on earth will think he's really cool, right? So I'll erase this stuff as soon as I start couchsurfing and others start talking about me here. But since I just joined, I will say I think I am a fun guy, I think I am interesting, and I know I am a nice person (altruistic, trustworthy, kind, humble, respectful.)
PHILOSOPHY
You want philosophy in a paragraph, really? I guess my philosophy is that life is not what happens to you but how you take it. All kinds of good and bad things happen to everyone. Happiness is a choice. Life is way too short to waste even one minute being negative or complaining. Those neurological pathways become hard to break (neuroplasticity should be taught in schools).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just joined, and I am traveling, so I hope to be participating more and more in the near future.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Yesterday I completed my very first experience of (4 days) couchsurfing.
LOTS of travelling experience though. I have stayed in the houses of dozens of families that I met while travelling, but I never called it couchsurfing.

Filming and taking pictures.
All arts and all sciences.

Music, Movies, and Books
I could write forever here. I read ALL THE TIME (non-fiction), I LOVE music (folk, rock, punk, celtic...) and when I am not travelling I watch like 400 movies per year (mostly indie movies, documentaries, etc). So I'm sorry but I won't even try to make a list. Maybe some other day.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There have been many, fortunately.
Teach, Learn, Share
Cool! That's exactly what I was talking about on the previous section.
I guess I could teach languages, because that's how I used to make a living, and I know about birds (I have been a birdwatcher all my life) and about lots of other things, but I enjoy learning even more than teaching. I am always eager to learn and I am sure there won't be a shortage of topics or activities that we all enjoy. I am always happy to talk about whatever interests the others and I can follow most conversations (I have read the newspaper every day for the last 20 years and I am always reading about all kinds of stuff so I reckon I am a decent conversationalist)
