Overview
About Me
I grew up in San Diego instilling a love for the coast and the water. Surfing, swimming are passions of mine but anything that gets me outdoors and active is always amazing. Besides hanging around the beach all day I love listening to music and really getting to know people on a deep level. Being a student of different cultures around the world I love connecting with people of different backgrounds. I am currently spending my junior year in Spain to do just that, while getting my spanish to the next level. I always enjoy learning new perspectives and ways of living which is why traveling is so important to me. Music is another interest of mine as I grew up playing classical piano, listening to jazz, old school hip hop, and now really have immersed myself in the electronic music scene. I follow many artists out of Berlin and am in awe of musics ability to really bring people together. I really listen to everything, including country, except for pop music.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe that the experiences in our life that allow us to grow the most come from exchanging ideas with others. I am always open to listening and learning from anyone and strongly feel that we all have extraordinary experiences and stories to share. I want to meet more life-minded travelers and share stories with you so we can keep growing. I am on couch-surfing to exchange ideas, culture, language and ideas with others. I am always open to dope experiences (especially if they involve being active or music). While I study for the 2019-2020 year in Europe I hope to travel as well as host as many people as possible.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I was opened up to the possibilities of traveling and cultural exchange when I lived in a small rural community in Panama through a program (Amigos de Las Americas). My loving host family took me in and I was able to live with them and experience what local day to day routines were. I was able to internalize a different perspective how people choose to live and learn so much about Panamanian culture.
