About Me
### About Me:
Hello fellow travelers! 🌍 My name is Rohan Agrawal, and I’ve been on an extraordinary journey for the past four years. During this time, I’ve crossed 30 states of India, including union territories, and traveled through all parts of Bangladesh and Nepal 🇮🇳🇧🇩🇳🇵. My travels are deeply inspired by the principles of Gurukul, specifically the concept of Desatan—a journey to understand different religions, cultures, languages, and people to broaden one’s perspective on life 🌏✨. I also draw immense inspiration from the teachings of Swami Vivekananda, especially his principles of Vedanta and his worldview 📖🧘♂️.
### My Mission:
The main purpose of my travels is to create environmental awareness among the younger generation 🌱. I visit schools, colleges, public places, and even meet with lawmakers to advocate for our planet 🌍. Through my interactions, I hope to inspire others to take meaningful action for the environment 🌿.
### My Goal:
I have an ambitious goal to reach Oymyakon, the coldest place on Earth (-72°C) ❄️, while crossing 20 South Asian countries along the way 🗺️. This journey is not just about exploration, but also about spreading the message of environmental conservation 🌳.
### Personal Preferences:
I am a strict vegetarian and do not consume eggs, chicken, or any by-products 🥗. I do not smoke 🚭, and while I rarely drink, I do enjoy a drink in good company occasionally 🍷.
### Skills and Interests:
I am a passionate cook and can whip up delicious South Indian cuisine and a variety of other dishes 🍛. I have a deep love for coffee and could almost say I live for it ☕! Nature attracts me the most, and I find peace and inspiration in its beauty 🌄. Though I can be a bit shy at first, once I’m comfortable, I become quite extroverted 😊.
### Gratitude:
I am incredibly grateful for everything I have experienced and received 🙏. Couchsurfing has given me countless memories and connections. I’m looking forward to making more amazing memories with this wonderful community 🌟.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Experiences:
• Extreme Travels: I’ve ventured into the most remote parts of India where I didn’t see another human for 10 days.
• Unexpected Encounters: I once met a dacoit who initially wanted to rob and possibly harm me. However, after understanding my journey, he gave me money, food, and even dropped me off at a safe place. Humanity exists in the most unexpected places!
• Meeting Leaders: I have had the opportunity to meet various Chief Ministers and governors across India to discuss environmental issues and advocate for change.
• Heroic Acts: I once helped a girl escape from a group of creeps, standing up against injustice when it mattered most.
There’s a lot more to share, and I can’t recall everything right now, but I look forward to sharing my stories and experiences with you. Let’s create new memories together!
