Overview
About Me
Hey! My name is Rohan and I'm currently residing in Toronto, Canada. Before that, I went to University in Montreal. I went to high school in Manila and lived in Delhi, Atlanta, Chicago, and Bangalore prior to that. I'm working for Capital One as a Business Analyst and worked at a startup called Sonder in the Data Science team. Work wise, I enjoy using technology to make people's lives easier. Outside of work, I'm interested in all things esoteric - think meditation, yoga, deep house etc. Talking to new people energizes me, and I am always open to trying new things. For some context, my overarching goal for 2018 is to become a more interesting person :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I believe people make places. I have been traveling before with my family, but it has never fully satisfied the itch that I have for novelty and unique experiences. Even when traveling with my parents, the most memorable experiences have been the ones that are unplanned, and involved meeting people from outside the group I was traveling with. Couchsurfing looks like a great way to cultivate more of these unique experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I recently did a 10-day silent meditation retreat where you can't talk, write, or even make eye contact for 10 days. Also, you meditate for 10.5 hours each day :) Hardest thing I've ever done, equally as rewarding.
