ABOUT ME
I'm 25. I grew up in the NYC area. I lived in Boston for a bit, and then Great Barrington, MA for a few years. I recently moved out to Seattle, and I have been there for about a year and six months, started doing the life-settling-in thing (going back to college, serious relationship, putting down roots, etc.). I'm trying to get back to traveling more.
I spend most of my free time in bars and restaurants. I have been in the food service industry for most of my adult life, so going out to restaurants is always interesting and watching the way things operate behind the scenes in different places. The biggest things I am working on right now (besides school) are my whiskey knowledge and my pool skills. I am trying to develop a more apt palate, so I spend a lot time perusing bars for whiskeys I haven't tried and interesting food to pair it with (bone marrow).
I also spend a decent amount of time working on/riding my motorcycle. I recently got a new one, which has opened up my traveling abilities (my old one was somewhat unreliable), so I am hoping to start putting down some serious miles when I have breaks from school.
I spent this last summer travelling, and I stayed with a few couchsurfers in California and Alaska. Looking to return the favor to my fellow travelers.
