Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing is a great way to travel on a budget and meet new people. It's also a great way to learn about different cultures and gain insight into different parts of the world. One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My friend was depressed because he had no job, family issues, and missed his girlfriend badly, so he wanted to commit suicide because he felt he wouldn't be able to fix this now, nor would he be able to in the future. We talked to him and tried to help him realize that his life wasn't over and he had other options. We reminded him of all the people who cared about him and that he had the potential to make his life better. We also encouraged him to seek help from a professional and gave him resources he could use. Finally, we assured him that no matter what, we were there for him.
