Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My flatmate introduced me to CS. He traveled across the US for two months and was hosted by amazing surfers. At one point, one of the hosts even postponed his trip to spend time with him.
This made me realize that although meeting right people is not in your hands but you can create an environment to meet and know like-minded individuals.
CS is one such place, and so I am here:)

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Whiplash,
countryside music.
Books: How to lead, thinking fast and slow, Nikola Tesla.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
- Traveled from Leh to Manali (450 km) in 7 days; this is one of the most difficult highways in the world. Our vehicle broke down 2 times, no network for three days. Walked some 70 km to get help and supplies. How I landed up here is a story.
Teach, Learn, Share
Can teach the following
- Meditation: Guided and Vipassana.
- I am terrible at cooking, and I so want to learn it.
What I Can Share with Hosts
- I saw a fountain of crude oil erupt from the ground when I was 7. How, where and what is something of a story.
- Personal Finance hacks: I know most people don't want to talk about money matters, but being FIRE (Financial Independent, Retire Early) is a different feeling altogether, IYKYK.
